Radio Lewisham is a community radio station based in the 2022 London Borough of Culture. Lewisham is one of the most socially, culturally and ethnically diverse boroughs in the world but its potential has not always been realised due to social and economic deprivation and disadvantage with inevitable consequences. The Radio Lewisham team reflects that diversity and we are working with Lewisham Council’s Borough of Culture team to play our part in creating opportunities for and promoting local talent through the formation of a community-facing station that seeks to respond to the needs, aspirations and ongoing feedback of our whole community.
