South East Central is a monthly live event taking place at the iconic Fox & Firkin on Lewisham High Street. It is curated and managed by Neil March of Fresh on the Net and Trust The Doc Media. It is an opportunity for aspiring bands and artists to showcase their talents in front of a knowledgable audience that includes industry and media folk, fellow artists and a discerning audience that supports non-mainstream music. It is called South East Central because that is what Lewisham represents; the heartbeat of the region and the place that all roads [and bus routes] lead to. Little known trivia fact: Kate Bush made her live debut at the Fox & Firkin, aged 16, fronting her brother’s band.
