Trust The Doc Media is an education provider and we have an exciting online course you can undertake online. It is an opportunity to learn about the current recorded music industry. The course covers how the industry works at global, national and independent levels; how it is structured and what the functions are of all its key elements. It also takes the students through a range of relevant issues and scenarios affecting the journeys of recording artists and those in their support structures.
Once you enrol and make payment, you are provided with a package of two PDFs in colourful slide presentation form that take you through a variety of areas. You will also receive a video in which Neil and Sherry talk about further aspects of the industry including promotion, marketing and related issues.
You will have four months from enrolment to submit a 4.000 word essay on a subject of your choice (which must be agreed with Neil and Sherry as the course leaders). Given the vast spectrum of what comes under the banner of recorded music industry, you will have a great deal of scope to pick a topic that interests you. On satisfactory completion and submission of the essay, you will be awarded a certificate provided the essay is deemed satisfactory. If it is not, you will be given guidance on how to improve it and will have time to resubmit at no detriment and no additional cost. You will be able to book online tuition at no extra cost if you feel this is needed to help you meet the requirements of the course.
