Vanishing Point is a live music event which is promoted and managed by Demerara Records. It takes place on the first Thursday of every other month at The Ivy House in Nunhead, South East London. Tickets for the 7th February (Rothko’s last ever gig) are on sale here.
The gig sees Alternative Music legends Rothko play their final live set supported by Electro-Futurist Genre Mash-Up duo Environmental Sound Foundation and Freya & Steve Hellier’s fascinating new project Handäoline described as ‘Accordion and live electronics duo, resurrecting the ghost in an instrument that went to war’.
There is a compilation album involving 19 of the most exciting artists on the experimental, alternative and unclassified music and sound art scene in the UK entitled Vanishing Point (Vol. 1) To buy the download album click here.
*There are a few longer tracks on the download version which have been slightly shortened in order to fit on the CD version. However the edits are minor.
