Vanishing Point is a live music event which is promoted and managed by Demerara Records. It takes place on the first Thursday of every other month at The Ivy House in Nunhead, South East London. Get tickets for the Female Fronted New Music gig on 4th April here.
We are celebrating talented women in new music with BBC 6 Music-featured artist Luvia. Luvia topped the final Fresh on the Net Fresh Faves of 2018 and has been named for Liverpool Sound City and Live in Leeds. Yvonne Hercules is a talented singer-songwriter who has been compared to a young Joan Armatrading. Environmental Sound Foundation are an Electronic Urban Pop duo fronted by Dilara.
Every other month we promote Vanishing Point Solo; a live event focusing on smaller-scale acts (solo artists, duos etc.) including electronic and acoustic artists. The next Vanishing Point Solo gig is on 2nd May.
There is also a compilation album involving 19 of the most exciting artists on the experimental, alternative and unclassified music and sound art scene in the UK entitled Vanishing Point (Vol. 1) To buy the download album click here.
*There are a few longer tracks on the download version which have been slightly shortened in order to fit on the CD version. However the edits are minor.

The concept of Vanishing Point is a chairs and tables setting where the audience can eat drink and chat while being entertained by a wide spectrum of new music.
Look out for news of our 4th April gig where three talented female-fronted acts will be playing. Namely Luvia; Yvonne Hercules and Environmental Sound Foundation.
