Demerara Records‘ December Vanishing Point @ The Ivy House has created quite a buzz on social media. And not just because Neil March uses the Twitter handle @HornetMuziq!!
An appreciative Vanishing Point crowd saw Liverpool collective Operation Lightfoot play a beautiful set of exotic and unique songs (including two solo tracks by singer Julia aka Dorothy Bird). They were supported by local acts Rookery who performed a gripping hypnotic set of avant garde music with improv and spoken word and Demerara’s Neil March. Neil and Dilaratook a break from Environmental Sound Foundation to perform a set of Neil’s contemporary classical works for which they were joined by Clara Yang on Flute (Dilara on Piano), the first such gig since Neil played the BBC Introducing Stage at Latitude 2017.
Demerara Records is a hub for new music involved in artist management, live events promotion, media (Trust The Doc TV, Radio & Blog), label management and book publication. It is primarily a trading name for Neil March.
